Prominent test and hush buttons make it easy both to perform weekly tests to ensure proper operation of the alarm and to silence nuisance alarms caused by dust, steam, or fumes. The 29HD also features two anti-tamper mechanisms for peace of mind: one prevents casual removal of the alarm, while the other stops the alarm being fitted to the ceiling without a battery.
