Bang for your buck. First things first. Apple products might seem a bit costly but in the long run the cost is recovered. Similar in case of ipad as well, if maintained properly one ipad can last you for 5- 6 years with great performance (minor hickups here and there). In this duration you may change 2 android tabs.Coming to the functionality.You get same functionality in all ipads including ipad pro 2020 as all run on the same OS ipadOS14.3. Ipad 8th gen is a piece of tech which is a complete bang for your buck product.Pros:A12 bionic chip is still very powerful and with neural engine it can hadle graphics intensive tasks with ease.IpadOS is made to make you more and more productive.Gaming performance is awesome.Non laminated glass is a pro in my view. If you accidentally damage your ipad screen the cost of repair will be less as compared to fully laminated glass. And honestly it is not much of a difference as you are going to apply a tempered glass anyways.Multitasking is a breeze.Animations are fluid as butter.I would suggest to invest a little more money in apple pencil 1st gen and I am sure you wont regret it. Logitech crayon is an alternate.Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, if added you can use the ipad as a full fledged laptop.Cons:32 gb storage on base model can be painful to some. 19 gb was available out of the box.Costly accessories.Lack of guest account support is a con as well. Two people can’t create separate profiles on the ipad. If you plan to share your ipad with someone be aware you have to share same account. All your files and apps will be shared as soon as someone logs in to your ipad.Other than this I can’t think of any other con.Just go for it if you are looking for something that will enhance your productivity at the same time provide a great way of entertainment on the go.As usual thanks to amazon for delivery before time.Have a good day.
